On very rare occasions, I come back to my family home. I descend to the basement to rummage through silent witnesses of almost-forgotten memories. Sometimes I do it to find something I forgot I had, and now I want it back.
Sometimes I do it to remind myself who I was.
Sometimes to remind myself who I am now.

Although the items are silent, the voices of my memories are louder than mere whispers. I touch almost everything that once belonged to me, and reminiscent about what I did and what I felt in that life I once had. A particular memory always comes when I touch a certain children’s book.
